Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026. Pip is run by Game Circle. Questions: hello@pipassets.com.
Pip helps you look after your home: it remembers your equipment, reminds you about maintenance and helps you get things fixed. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We never sell your information.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and/or mobile number, your name if you give it, and how you want us to contact you.
- Your home: its address, property details, access notes for providers (like a gate code), and providers you already use.
- Your equipment: makes, model and serial numbers, install dates, notes, and the photos, manuals, receipts and warranties you upload.
- Maintenance and requests: what you've done and when, problems you report, quotes, appointments, completion photos and ratings.
- People in your home: the contact details of anyone you invite.
- Feedback you send us, and basic technical information (like which pages were visited and error reports) that helps us keep Pip working.
How we use it
- To run Pip for you: build maintenance plans, send reminders and sign-in links, and keep your home's history.
- To arrange work you ask for. When you choose Let Pip handle it, we share what the provider needs to quote and do the job: your address, access notes, the problem description, photos and relevant equipment details.
- To keep Pip secure, fix problems and improve it.
Reading photos with AI
When you scan a label, receipt or manual, the photo is sent to Anthropic, whose Claude AI reads the details so you don't have to type them. Pip shows you what was read and nothing is saved until you confirm it. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through their API isn't used to train their models.
Who else handles your information
We use trusted service providers to run Pip, and they only process your information on our behalf: hosting and database (Render), file storage (a private cloud storage bucket), email delivery, Anthropic (photo reading), and error monitoring (we strip personal details from error reports before they're sent). If we enable product analytics, it's limited to how features are used, never your address, notes or contact details.
Providers you call or hire through Pip are independent businesses with their own privacy practices.
We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or property.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open, because your home's history is the point of Pip. You can delete documents and equipment at any time, and you can delete your account and all of your home's information from Settings. Backups are cleared on a rolling schedule after deletion.
Your choices
- Change what we send you and when (including quiet hours for texts) in Settings.
- Download your data, or delete your account and data, in Settings.
- Ask us anything about your information at hello@pipassets.com.
Security
Pip uses encrypted connections, keeps your files private (they're only shown to members of your home), and limits staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you notice anything wrong.
Children
Pip is for adults managing a home. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
